CUSTOMS COMPLETE TEAM IN FRANCE
1. Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role at Customs Complete Team?
Well, I’m Imane, the Customs and Logistics Coordinator at Customs Complete team. I oversee all Customs Clearance in France, ensuring our clients’ shipments get cleared and sorted in time. My role also involves managing logistics and transport and working directly with clients to solve any supply chain issues that might arise.
2. What’s your background in customs clearance, supply chain, or compliance?
Although I don’t have direct experience in customs clearance, before becoming a customs and logistics agent,I worked for three years as an Import & Export Coordinator for a fertilizer company in Morocco. During that time, I gained knowledge of logistics and international trade rules.
This role helped me strengthen my understanding of compliance and paperwork, which is very useful in my current position. Also being able to speak French and English and Arabic, helped to me work efficiently with clients worldwide.
3. What does a typical working day look like for you?
My day typically begins with checking emails and responding to clients’ requests, prioritizing urgent tasks to get them sorted. I coordinate with partners to ensure smooth operations and communicate with clients to address any concerns. Additionally, I assist my teammates whenever they need support.

4. What do you enjoy most about working in this industry?
5. What are the biggest challenges businesses face with customs clearance in France?
6. How do you help clients manage logistics and supply chain complexities?
7. What’s one customs or compliance issue that companies often overlook?
Many companies overlook the importance of accurate and complete documentation. Incomplete or incorrect documents can cause delays and additional costs. That’s why double-checking the documents and making sure that they comply with regulations is very important, especially before the goods are shipped, as it saves us a lot of trouble!
8. What makes the French customs process unique compared to other countries?
9. What advice would you give to businesses importing or exporting through France?
In my opinion, one of most important things is to have all paperwork in order and check if the goods require any specific licenses or if they are subject to any special procedures. Sorting this out before shipping can save a lot of time and money! Also, understanding Incoterms is key, they help define each party’s responsibilities in terms of costs and risks.
10. Outside of work at customs complete team, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love going out with friends and exploring new places. I also love shopping—clothes, perfumes, makeup… (I’m just a girl ). And sometimes, I just enjoy chilling at home with my cat, scrolling through the endless Instagram reels or watching a good movie.
